Spanish Group Classes for adults

You would like to study Spanish but you are looking for ways to economize your budget a bit? Do you have a friend that you can study with? Would you like to organize company lessons for your employees? Don’t worry. The group classes with Diana are here just for you...

Most of Diana’s in group classes are conducted on-line but it is also possible to discuss you requests with Diana individually and negotiate in person classes or “switching” mode. The usual duration of 1 unit is 90 minutes. The number of students in on classes is 2 to 3. With this number of students, a personal approach can still be maintained. Students are assessed via short on-line interviews. In a typical lesson, you will first revise your vocabulary by either playing a game or giving each other puzzles. The warm up phase is usually followed up a conversational block about your weekend or a topic of your interest. And of course, the classes are also focused on revision of grammar and expansion of your vocabulary from a suitable textbook. In the core of the lesson, we usually tend to have a role-play exercise which enables you to activate effectively your new vocabulary, phrases, and grammar. At the end of the lesson, we tend to revise our vocabulary of the day and (sometimes) homework is administered. You group in-company classes can also have a periodical (once a semester progress test) in order to monitor students’ achievements. The classes are usually held from Monday to Friday between 7:30am to 15:30pm. Do you find the time suitable for you? Then write us an e-mail and you can schedule your 30-minute assessment lesson completely free of change. In the assessment lesson Diana will determine your level of Spanish and you can get a sample of the lesson which will help you to decide if the lesson style is suitable for you. If you decide to have regular lessons, you can choose from our 4 packages.

Please, note that the prices also include 1 vocabulary list file and 1 audio file in MP4 version with the pronunciation of the new words and expressions. All to be send by e-mail after the lesson.

About the lector

Hi, how are things? My name is Diana Flores, I am from Lima, Peru, but I have lived in the Czech Republic, Prague, for 14 years. I really like getting to know new places, countries, customs and people, especially from Europe. I also like running and walking with my family,a Czech husband and a Czech-Peruvian son. I speak English and I studied in 2016 at the Tía Tula Spanish School Training Course for Teachers of Spanish as a Foreign Language and also the Spanish Course for Children at the International House, in 2019. My lessons are dynamic and usually divided into several sections. First, we tend to converse about our current situation and circumstances. And then we use a textbook (level A1 - B2) in order to revise your grammar and “un-dust” your existing vocabulary. We also usually write new words down in order to revise them at later stages. I strongly encourage my students to express themselves in Spanish without feeling apprehensive about making mistakes. Allow yourself to make a mistake with grace. Most of my classes with advanced speakers are, however, conversational as I believe that talking about various topics of interest is the way towards progress. And that is that main goal – to practise as much as you can in order to internalize your learning.
